Job summary

Prudent HR Solutions is seeking an experienced MEP Draughtsman in Centurion to prepare accurate mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings for construction projects.

The role requires CAD proficiency, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines while coordinating with engineers, architects and suppliers across South Africa.

Minimum two years' MEP draughting experience and a diploma or degree in engineering or related field are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Draughting or a related field.
• Minimum of two years' MEP draughting experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Sound understanding of MEP systems, technical drawings and industry standards.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed MEP drawings using CAD software.
• Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints and technical documents.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate designs with engineers, architects, contractors and suppliers.
• Review drawings for accuracy, coordination and feasibility.
• Assist with site surveys, measurements and technical information gathering.
• Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support when required.
