Job summary

SKG is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Draughtsman in Centurion to produce detailed drawings for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, collaborating with engineers, architects and contractors to translate requirements into accurate designs and specifications.

You will use CAD software to create and modify drawings, verify accuracy against standards, participate in site surveys, and support project meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of draughtsman experience in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
• Proficient in CAD software and other design tools.
• Psychometric tests are required for shortlisted candidates.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems based on engineers' and architects' specifications.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and team members to develop and modify designs.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify drawings.
• Review technical documents and blueprints to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Assist with site surveys and measurements to gather information for drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure proper implementation of designs.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
