Job summary

Employmate Limited in South Africa seeks an experienced Medical Recruitment Consultant to drive the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle for doctors, supporting the Australian market. This client-facing role demands strong relationship management, business development, and candidate engagement.

The successful candidate will work independently as an independent contractor, with flexible hours (11:30 pm–8:00 am SA time) and earn a base monthly salary of R28,000 plus commissions and performance

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete 360 recruitment process from business development and client acquisition through to candidate placement and ongoing support.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare clients and medical professionals.
• Understand client requirements and identify suitable doctor candidates.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, databases and direct headhunting.
• Conduct detailed candidate screening and interviews to assess suitability, career goals and motivations.
• Present qualified candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.
• Coordinate interviews, manage feedback and negotiate employment offers.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
• Achieve individual recruitment, placement and business development targets.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information.

About the Opportunity

Preferred Experience

International recruitment experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting clients across different time zones. Familiarity with JobAdder recruitment software would be advantageous.
