Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as Medical Equipment Technician or Biomedical Engineer.
• Experience with imaging, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical devices.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, and maintain complex medical equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance for reliability.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, identify root causes, implement solutions.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specs.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repair, calibration activities.
• Provide technical training to clinical staff.
