Placements24 seeks a Media Relations Coordinator to support day-to-day media outreach from our Centurion office. You will be the central contact for media inquiries, draft press materials, and help coordinate interviews with company spokespeople.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in media relations or PR support, excellent written and verbal communication, and solid MS Office skills. This role offers exposure to high-profile campaigns within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in media relations or PR support.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and media monitoring tools.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate media outreach efforts, including pitching stories and following up with journalists.
• Manage incoming media requests and facilitate interviews for company spokespersons.
• Maintain and update the media contact database.
• Track media coverage and assist in preparing performance reports.
• Support the planning and execution of press conferences and media events.
• Assist in the creation of press materials and social media content.
