Qualifications

• Familiarity with media relations principles and social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design software is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced office environment in Durban.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
• Support media outreach efforts, including responding to inquiries and building media lists.
• Help organize and coordinate PR events, press conferences, and media briefings.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on press clippings and brand mentions.
• Manage departmental administrative tasks, including filing, scheduling, and database management.
