Job summary

Volt Africa is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager / Sales Executive to drive new advertising revenue across our print, digital, website and social media platforms in Cape Town. This 6-month fixed-term contract offers a fast-paced, impact-rich environment.

You will identify opportunities across corporate, SME, retail and agencies, craft customised proposals, manage the full sales cycle and collaborate with editorial, digital and production teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with strong communication skills.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
• Experience in media or advertising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business across corporate, SME, retail, and agencies.
• Sell integrated advertising solutions across digital, print, and social platforms.
• Build strong relationships with brands, advertisers and media agencies.
• Prospect through calls, meetings, referrals and social media.
• Develop customised proposals, media plans and campaigns.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and upsell existing accounts.
• Collaborate with editorial, digital, creative and production teams.
