Alstom is seeking a full-time Mechanical Fitter in Boksburg to maintain and fault-find mechanical systems, supporting installation and overhaul activities. You will ensure reliability of production equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams.
Ideal candidates have a Red Seal and 5+ years of relevant experience, with CMMS experience (SAP PM/Maximo) and strong reading skills for drawings and P&IDs.

Could you be the full-time Mechanical Fitter in Boksburg we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical maintenance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside skilled and collaborative teammates.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment reliability, availability, and efficiency through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production, Quality, Contractors, and Engineering Teams), support facility infrastructure, and contribute to production equipment reliability, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs, but also support installation, modification, and overhaul activities.
