Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

• Design and specify modifications to existing machinery or propose new equipment to optimize production.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis to monitor process performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate with production staff, quality assurance teams, and maintenance personnel to implement changes and ensure successful integration.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new or modified processes.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
• Prepare technical reports detailing findings, recommendations, and the results of implemented changes.
• Ensure all implemented processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process engineering and improvement.
• Proven experience with manufacturing technologies and equipment relevant to automotive parts production.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with CAD software for minor design modifications or process layout is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
