Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Mechanical Draughtsperson to join the Richards Bay engineering team. You will translate design concepts into detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to drafting standards.

With a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Artisan Draughting and at least 4 years of experience, you will collaborate with engineers, manage revision control, and support technical documentation on

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Artisan Draughting.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as Mechanical Draughtsperson.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Create and update drawings, schematics, and layouts based on design specifications and mark-ups.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company drafting standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify design intent and resolve drafting issues.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical drawing files and revision control systems.
