Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using industry-standard software.
• Perform engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and kinematic simulations, to ensure design integrity and performance.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes, considering sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team of engineers, researchers, and product managers in a virtual environment.
• Oversee and participate in the prototyping and testing of developed mechanical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, with a demonstrated interest or experience in sustainable technologies or green engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAE tools for analysis (e.g., ANSYS).
• Solid understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and design for sustainability principles.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote interaction.
• Experience with prototyping techniques and testing methodologies.
