The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, at least four years of experience, and strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in designing specialized industrial equipment or machinery is highly desirable.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage design tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and control systems is a plus.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom mechanical equipment and systems according to project specifications.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using industry-standard software.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis (e.g., stress, material selection) to ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers to define design requirements and timelines.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are producible and cost-effective.
• Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and manufactured equipment.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide solutions during development and production.
• Prepare technical documentation, including assembly instructions and parts lists.
• Research and propose new technologies or design approaches to enhance equipment performance.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
