Job summary

Recruitpro Solutions is partnering with a global leader in mineral processing to recruit a Design Engineer (Mechanical) with a structural background. Based in Centurion/Edenvale, Gauteng, you will own concept and detailed design for structures, conveyors and mining equipment.

You’ll collaborate with sales and client teams, support projects from estimation through execution, and travel across Africa to resolve mechanical issues on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing structural components and assemblies for heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems and bulk material handling equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, engineering and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Own concept and detailed design for structures, conveyors and mining equipment.
• Support projects from initial estimation through to final execution.
• Travel across Africa to investigate mechanical issues and provide on-site support.
