Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of design experience and strong CAD skills. You will collaborate with designers and manufacturing partners to deliver reliable, cost-efficient solutions for global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in consumer electronics.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software with parametric modeling skills.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and plastics/metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for consumer electronic devices, focusing on form, fit, and function.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or Fusion 360; prepare assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with industrial designers to translate aesthetics into viable mechanical designs.
• Perform tolerance analysis, stress simulations, and material selection for durability and manufacturability.
• Work with manufacturing partners to optimize designs for mass production and cost efficiency.
