About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to join their team in East London . This role combines the creation of precise mechanical designs with rigorous analytical validation to ensure product integrity and performance. You will work on diverse projects, translating concepts into robust designs and using simulation tools to predict behavior under various conditions. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility while fostering collaboration with colleagues. Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD software, ensuring manufacturability and performance.
• Perform stress analysis , vibration analysis, and thermal analysis using FEA software.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and correlation with simulation results.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design intent is realized in production.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement necessary modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Solid understanding of material science, mechanics of materials, and engineering principles.
• Experience with data acquisition and experimental testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
