Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer for an East London automotive facility. You will design and develop mechanical components, create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, and run simulations to validate concepts from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on automotive components.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA or SolidWorks, and experience with PLM systems.
• Solid understanding of automotive materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Experience with DFMEA and PPAP processes is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
