Job summary

The tutor will meet with students outside class, document tutoring sessions, and contribute to maintaining records; candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, reliable attendance, and comfort working in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of subject areas for tutoring as needed.
• Experience tutoring college students is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills and dependability required.
• Able to travel to main campus and work virtually as needed.

Responsibilities

• Tutor basic and advanced mathematical functions as appropriate for department needs.
• Meet with students outside class time to help with course work.
• Maintain documentation on courses tutored and submit records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the ASC.
