Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of material synthesis techniques and characterization methods (e.g., XRD, SEM, TEM).
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in experimental work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a research team in Klerksdorp.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the synthesis and characterization of new materials using various experimental techniques.
• Conduct performance testing and analysis of developed materials under diverse conditions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety standards.
• Collect, organize, and interpret experimental data, contributing to research reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with team members on ongoing research projects and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Stay updated on the latest literature and advancements in materials science.
