The role requires a PhD with 5+ years of experience in materials science and hands-on expertise in advanced characterization techniques, synthesis, and processing.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in materials science with a proven track record.
• Expertise in polymer science, nanotechnology, ceramics, or composites.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead independent research initiatives in novel material synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation.
• Design and execute complex experimental protocols with attention to accuracy and safety.
• Analyze and interpret data, propose future research directions.
• Prepare technical reports and papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals; present to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and physicists to integrate material solutions into product development.
• Stay abreast of advancements through literature reviews and conferences.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to laboratory best practices.
