Job summary

IQVIA contracted position for a Mass Market Team Leader supporting Botswana operations. Lead and coach a sales team to hit monthly and annual targets, drive strategy execution across retail and wholesale channels, and ensure product visibility.

You will deliver timely reports, analyze trends, and foster strong customer relationships while leveraging CRM tools. Experience in FMCG/Mass Market with multinational exposure is preferred; willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license are required

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a team leadership or sales management role within FMCG or Mass Market sectors.
• Experience in a multinational organisation is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Botswana FMCG and Mass Market landscape.

A multinational Consumer Health company is seeking an experienced Mass Market Team Leader to oversee and drive commercial performance across Botswana. This role requires a strong background in FMCG and Mass Market operations, combined with proven leadership capability within a multinational organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a Mass Market sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Drive execution of sales strategies across key retail and wholesale channels.
• Ensure strong in‑market visibility and availability of all product ranges.
• Deliver accurate and timely management reports.
• Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and support Key Account Management activities.
• Ensure effective use and maintenance of CRM systems for reporting, tracking, and territory management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Team Leader or Sales Management role within FMCG or Mass Market sectors.
• Experience working in a multinational organisation is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the Botswana FMCG and Mass Market landscape.
