Job summary

Hotel group in South Africa seeks a seasoned Head of Sales, Marketing & Revenue to drive commercial performance across multiple properties. You will lead sales, marketing, revenue management, distribution and direct-booking strategies, presenting quarterly results to owners and executives.

The role requires a track record of growing occupancy, ADR and RevPAR, plus strong leadership of national teams. Open to South African nationals with extensive multi-property hotel experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher qualification in a relevant field.
• Postgraduate business qualification an advantage.
• Proven senior leadership experience in hotel sales, marketing and revenue across multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and align Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Distribution for the hotel group.
• Develop and execute group and property level strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and market share.
• Present performance, challenges and commercial action plans to owners and senior executives.

Job description

A hotel group seeks a senior manager with a proven track record as Head of Sales, Marketing & Revenue, responsible for the overall sales, marketing, revenue, distribution and commercial performance of this group.

Essential requirements:

• Tertiary qualification essential related to the above and Postgraduate business qualification an advantage
• Must have minimum 10 years experience in a commercial leadership role, covering Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Operations management within a hotel group and across multi properties
• Proven leadership experience across sales, marketing, revenue management and distribution.
• Have record of improving hotel revenue, profitability, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share and overall commercial performance.
• Strong experience developing and implementing group and hotel-level sales and marketing strategies.
• Ability to manage revenue strategy, pricing, forecasting, distribution, OTAs and direct-booking channels.
• Experience managing and developing national or multi-property commercial/sales teams and holding teams and hotels accountable for performance.
• Proven track record of managing key accounts, sales pipelines, conversion and new business opportunities.
• Experience working directly with hotel owners, GMs and senior executives, including presenting performance, challenges and commercial action plans.
