Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing or related field advantageous.
• 3–5 years' sales/marketing experience in agri equipment or related products.
• Computer literacy required.
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 08) and willingness to travel.

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Marketer: Whole Goods within the Trade division at Standerton, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary

This role involves promoting and selling agricultural machinery, equipment and related products to customers. The Marketer: Whole Goods is responsible for identifying sales opportunities, developing new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, providing product recommendations, achieving sales targets, monitoring market trends, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role also includes coordinating quotations, orders, and related administrative activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sales and marketing of agricultural and forestry products including tractors and implements
• Advise customers and market/sell products
• Research, study and assess current marketing trends
• Analyse competitors’ products and market trends
• Create appropriate marketing strategies for products
• Find prospective customers/clients and new target segment
• Process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring the clients approval
• Up-sell and cross-sell new products or services to existing customers
• Contact prospective customers and provide them with information on the company and the products / services provided
• General administration
• Customer care and satisfaction - daily visits to key customers and potential new customers
• Grow the TWK client base

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Mechanisation, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field (Advantageous)
• 3 - 5 years' experience in the sales and marketing of agricultural and forestry equipment or related products
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of tractors, implements and agricultural machinery
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused with excellent service orientation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound product knowledge and selling abilities
