Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.

• Strong product knowledge and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell agricultural products including tractors and implements.
• Advise customers and identify new clients.

• Create marketing strategies for products.
• Process orders and manage customer relationships.
• Support Senior Marketer and perform admin duties.
• Visit key customers regularly to grow TWK client base.

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Junior Marketer: Whole Goods within the Trade division at Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal.

Job Summary

This role involves supporting the sales and marketing of agricultural products such as tractors and implements. The Junior Marketer is responsible for identifying new clients, analysing market trends, assisting with marketing strategies, processing orders, and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular visits and service. The role also includes general admin duties and supporting the Senior Marketer in sales activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sales and marketing of agricultural products including tractors and implements
• Advise customers and market/sell products
• Research, study and assess current marketing trends
• Analyse competitors products and market trends
• Create appropriate marketing strategies for products
• Find prospective customers/clients and new target segment
• Process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring the clients approval
• Up-sell and cross-sell new products or services to existing customers
• Contact prospective customers and provide them with information on the company and the products / services provided
• General administration
• Customer care and satisfaction - daily visits to key customers and potential new customers
• Grow the TWK client base
• Assist Senior Marketer with sales

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Computer literate
• Valid drivers'license
• 1 - 2 years' experience in sales and marketing of agricultural products to customers/farmers
• Knowledge of agricultural products
• Must be a dynamic and self-motivated individual
• Be professional

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound product knowledge and selling skills
• Valid Drivers' License (Code 08)
