Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Research & Development, The Market Researcher Analyst at G7 Renewable Energies must be a passionate, detail-oriented, and analytical individual. This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to innovative renewable energy solutions and gain hands-on experience in both market intelligence and technical research. The successful candidate will support strategic decision-making and research initiatives that drive the development of sustainable energy technologies.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Research & Development:

• Assist in planning and designing research projects focused on renewable energy technologies (e.g., wind, solar, bio-energy).
• Conduct literature reviews to stay abreast of industry advancements.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret experimental and field data.
• Support prototype development and testing of renewable energy systems.
• Prepare detailed research reports, technical papers, and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior researchers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in drafting research grant proposals and maintaining organized records.

Market Analysis:

• Conduct market research on energy/power markets and regulatory frameworks in focus regions.
• Build and maintain pricing curves and capture values for wind and solar products.
• Develop long-term power market outlooks and forecasts.
• Prepare market research reports considering geopolitical risks and regulatory changes.
• Perform quantitative market analysis and deliver insights on market trends.
• Provide statistics and content for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing documents and presentations for banks, investors, and partners.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Financial, and Engineering departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Honours Degree in a relevant field, such as Finance and Economics, Accounting, Business Science, Data Science, Environmental Science, Engineering or Physics.

Postgraduate Degree (e.g., Master’s) are advantageous, especially in:

• Resource Management
• Sustainable Development
• Energy Economics
