Job summary

Srg Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Training Manager for Isipingo, Durban South to identify training needs and develop staff across the factory. You will be on the factory floor, demonstrating tasks, observing employees and driving safety and production standards.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, ability to run apprenticeship/graduate development programs, and strong knowledge of SETA requirements and workplace training frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, L&D, industrial psychology or related field.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience with factory-floor operations.
• Experience implementing apprenticeship models, learnerships or graduate development programs.
• Training employees on machinery, production processes, quality standards and safety.

Our client is seeking a Training Manager who has Hands-On Factory Floor training experience. You will beresponsible for identifying employee training needs, developing skills across the workforce, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and improving operational performance through effective training programmes. Must be comfortable being on the factory floor, demonstrating tasks, observing employees at work.
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• Practical manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of factory-floor operations
• Proven experience implementing and managing apprenticeship models, learnerships and/or graduate development programmes
• Experience training employees on machinery, production processes, quality standards and workplace safety
• Strong knowledge of SETA requirements, skills development legislation and workplace training frameworks
