Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Engineer to oversee manufacturing QA in Port Elizabeth. You will develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet stringent standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires coordinating with production and engineering teams, conducting inspections, and driving CAPA to improve process quality. A strong background in ISO 9001 and SPC is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures for all manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve product consistency.
