Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives for manufacturing operations near Soweto. This senior role develops, implements, and maintains the QMS to ensure products meet high standards and regulatory requirements, while guiding a team of QA professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• In-depth knowledge of QMS frameworks (ISO 9001) and quality control techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with root cause analysis and implementing CAPA systems.
• Ability to drive organizational change and foster a quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and process audits.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and track their effectiveness.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments.
