Job summary

Africa Fuel Projects in Vereeniging seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead manufacturing-focused initiatives, including process improvements, new product introductions, and facility upgrades. You will drive projects end-to-end from concept through implementation, ensuring efficiency and quality gains across production teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, at least 4 years in project management, and a hands-on approach to problem solving, with familiarity in Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in project management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing-focused projects aligned with production goals and strategy.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, production, quality control, and supply chain teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact production schedules or quality.
• Implement process improvements and new technologies within the manufacturing environment.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management.
