Elchemie is seeking a commercially minded manufacturing leader to take full accountability for the day-to-day performance of the operation in Gauteng. You will translate demand into credible production and capacity plans, manage schedules and resources, and drive output, quality and cost performance.

You will also lead commercial and financial management, analyse data for corrective actions, and pursue cost optimisation while fostering strong employee relations on a unionised site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Production Management, Business Management or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assume full accountability for day-to-day performance of the manufacturing operation.
• Translate customer demand and forecasts into production, labour, material and capacity plans.
• Ensure production scheduling, line balancing, workflow management and resource allocation.
