Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Trade Test: Electrician or Millwright (NQF 5) with up to 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. You should be computer literate (MS Office, SAP, ERP systems) and understand SOPs, safety, and housekeeping.

In this role you will diagnose equipment failures, perform timely repairs to minimize downtime, ensure compliance with standards, close out job cards on ShopWare, and collaborate with Production and the Maintenance Supervisor to

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of technical and electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Computer literacy: basic MS Office, SAP, ERP systems and related software.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices, designs, SOPs and methodologies.
• Understanding of housekeeping and safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose root cause of equipment failure and plan timely repairs.
• Minimize downtime by repairing faults quickly.
• Ensure optimal operation by applying engineering standards and processes.
• Close out maintenance job cards on completion (Shop Ware).
• Collaborate with Production to identify issues and resolve problems.
• Provide reports to the Maintenance Supervisor on repairs, downtime and records.
