Job summary

Cotech Building Careers is recruiting an established Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a Major contractor in the Education sector. You will lead financial feasibility analysis on projects at early stages and manage expenditure against budgeted figures.

The role involves two-stage bids, interfacing with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff. Projects range from £20m to £100m in value, offering strong progression in a rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• You will be responsible for advising on financial feasibility on projects at early stages.
• Assessing returns from sub contractors and awarding work packages.
• Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through CVR reporting.
• Checking, collating information from your team and producing accurate financial reports.
• Experience in two stage bids, engaging with clients, subcontractors and external stakeholders; mentoring junior staff.
