Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior professional to lead Mineral Resource and Reserve reporting for corporate disclosures and SEC filings. You will oversee drafting, review, and control of technical reports, ensuring compliance with international standards and data integrity across platforms.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor disclosure trends, and manage governance processes with internal and external stakeholders to support audit and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Formal tertiary qualification in Geology/Geosciences or Mining Engineering.
• Extensive experience in Mineral Resource and Reserve reporting and disclosures.
• Deep knowledge of SEC Regulation S-K 1300 and international reporting standards (SAMREC, JORC, NI 43-101).
• Experience with RCubed/Resource Disclosure and Workiva/WDesk.

Job description

• Lead, coordinate, and manage compilation, technical verification, and delivery of annual Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve public disclosures and SEC filings
• Manage drafting, technical review, and document control for public technical reports, including SEC S-K 1300 Technical Report Summaries
• Track international reporting codes, regulatory disclosure trends, and industry reporting practices
• Oversee Resource and Reserve reporting databases and cloud disclosure platforms, ensuring data integrity, workflow controls, and SOX compliance
• Facilitate corporate Resource and Reserve governance committee activities and manage internal reviews and external audit programs
• Drive collaboration across geology, mining engineering, geotechnical, tailings, metallurgy, and environmental/social teams
• Maintain the central R&R SharePoint portal for standards, guidelines, audit records, and compliance documentation
• Participate in site technical reviews, operational site visits, benchmark studies, and special technical projects

Requirements

• Formal tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree) in Geology/Geosciences, Mining Engineering, or a related extraction discipline
• 8+ years of operational and/or corporate experience in exploration, geology, mine engineering, or mineral processing, with direct involvement in Mineral Resource and Reserve reporting
• In-depth expertise in SEC Regulation S-K 1300 disclosure requirements and familiarity with SAMREC, JORC, and NI 43-101
• Experience with RCubed/Resource Disclosure and Workiva/WDesk
• Solid understanding of SOX compliance, database audit trails, and internal control frameworks
• Experience in technical report document control and multidisciplinary comment resolution
• Experience coordinating internal technical reviews and external third-party audits
• Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams to verify modifying factors
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across global, virtual, and multicultural teams
• Advanced communication, diplomacy, stakeholder management, numeracy, analytical, technical editing, and comment-reconciliation skills
