Hospitality and Outdoor is seeking an experienced Management Couple for a luxury lodge in the Northern Kruger. You will provide hands-on leadership, manage daily lodge operations, develop staff, control costs, and ensure exceptional guest service across departments.

Requirements include relevant tertiary qualification or significant lodge/general management in luxury settings, strong financial acumen, and excellent hosting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years lodge management experience OR 2–3 years general management in a luxury establishment.
• Strong knowledge across Front of House, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Finance, Operations and HR.
• Proven track record with contactable references.
• Respectful approach to local cultures and ability to work with local staff.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will provide hands‑on leadership, manage daily lodge operations, develop staff, control costs, and ensure consistently high standards across all departments.

Job Requirements – Lodge Management & Leadership

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality is beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years’ lodge management experience OR 2–3 years’ General Management experience within a luxury establishment – Essential.
• Strong knowledge of Front of House, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Finance, Operations and HR.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage and monitor operational costs.
• Proven track record with contactable references.
• Respectful approach towards local cultures and the ability to work effectively with local staff.
• Guest-focused philosophy with excellent hosting and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, people management, tolerance, patience and care.
• Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing working hours and shifts within a 24-hour operation.
• Ability to respond positively to changing responsibilities and operational requirements.
