Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Management Couple for a renowned luxury game lodge located in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, Limpopo. This live-in role suits a couple with passion for hospitality, conservation, and remote lodge life.

The Lodge Anchor will oversee guest experiences and front-of-house operations, while the Maintenance partner handles electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep. Experience in remote, luxury settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a management couple in a game lodge or remote hospitality environment.
• Strong people leadership and hands-on attitude.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication abilities.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage under pressure.
• Proficient computer skills and understanding of lodge systems.
• Valid driver's license (PDP advantageous).
• Willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment.

Responsibilities

Lodge Anchor Responsibilities:

• Manage check-ins, hosting duties, and daily guest liaison
• Supervise housekeeping and dining service standards
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and lodge admin
• Support training and motivation of lodge team

Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Oversee general lodge maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and structural tasks
• Maintain vehicles, generators, water systems, and infrastructure
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Ensure lodge grounds and buildings are well-kept and operational
• Assist with logistics and back-of-house tasks when needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a management couple in a game lodge or remote hospitality environment
• Strong people skills, leadership qualities, and a hands-on attitude
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication abilities
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage under pressure
