Placements24 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their industrial operations team in Klerksdorp. This on-site role focuses on upkeep and repair of industrial machinery to minimize downtime and optimize production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, read technical manuals and schematics, and maintain logs. A strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulic/electrical systems, and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments.
Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.
Good understanding of safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.
Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in demanding environments.
