Job summary

Blu Label Unlimited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for Bela-Bela on a 6 months contract at our Polokwane facility. You will install, maintain, and replace metering equipment while supporting customers on meter-related queries.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Electrical/Engineering qualification advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and maintain electricity/water meters.
• Replace and configure SIM cards in metering devices to ensure proper communication.
• Diagnose and resolve meter faults and communication issues.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Respond to customer queries regarding meter performance, readings, and functionality.

• Record all maintenance activities, replacements, and customer interactions accurately.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and replacement of metering equipment, while providing technical support to customers on meter-related queries. The role ensures accurate meter functionality, reliable data communication, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
