Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in South Africa invites applications for a Metering Data Services Specialist based in Simmerpan, Germiston. The role supports investigations, data analysis, reporting and monitoring of metering data to ensure accuracy, availability and integrity across billing cycles.

You will work with Phoenix, MDMS, MV90 and field staff, configure meter points, maintain system documentation and prepare verified data for billing.

Qualifications

• National N Diploma / National Diploma Electrical at NQF 6 with 240 Credits.
• P1 P2 Training.
• Area of specialization: to provide technical services for investigations, data analysis, reporting and monitoring metering data systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of validated metering data daily using Phoenix front-end database and MDMS, MV90 systems.
• Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly metering data and system performance.
• Configure meter points on metering operational systems.
• Liaise with field technical staff on meter maintenance, fault reporting and auditing.
• Maintain documentation of all system configurations.
• Prepare verified metering data for billing purposes for every billing cycle.
