Job summary

Pollock and Associates in Johannesburg is seeking a hands-on technician for a permanent role starting November 2026. You will monitor water and metering systems, record readings and inspect infrastructure for faults or leaks, performing basic maintenance and small repairs.

You will log service failures, assist with meter installations and testing, and support contractors during repairs and shutdowns while maintaining accurate records and logs.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Technical qualification in electrical, plumbing or mechanical.
• 2–4 years in utilities, maintenance or building services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water, electrical and metering systems and record readings.
• Inspect infrastructure for faults/leaks; perform basic maintenance and minor repairs.
• Log service failures, assist with meter installations/replacements/testing; support contractors and maintain logs.
