Job summary

Green Marble Recruitment Consultants is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance activities in a high-speed manufacturing environment in Howick, KZN. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance shutdowns with a strong emphasis on breakdown minimisation and proactive work.

You will use MS Project and CMMS daily, ensure SHEQ compliance, and collaborate with Engineering to optimise asset availability while maintaining accurate data and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Experience planning maintenance and shutdowns in heavy industry.
• Strong scheduling and predictive maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office 365.
• Experience with CMMS and SHEQ knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities across daily to yearly programmes.
• Coordinate planned and ad hoc maintenance with Engineering.
• Prepare and update weekly maintenance plans and schedules.
• Allocate preventative tasks to resources via CMMS.
• Update master data, BOMs and critical spares lists.
• Monitor weekly execution, compliance, and artisan productivity.
• Analyse maintenance history and report findings to management.
• Assist with shutdown cost analyses and safety requirements.
