Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural, food production, manufacturing or general production environments.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays and frequency switches.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Welding experience.
• Preventative maintenance and breakdowns on production lines.
• Siemens PLC reading and fault-finding experience advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Willingness to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays and frequency switches on production lines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to machinery breakdowns.
• Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Utilize Siemens PLC reading for diagnostics when required.
• Weld as needed to support maintenance activities.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English (essential, as the company's working language is Dutch).
• Well-rounded mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

• Practical experience working with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays and frequency switches.

• Approximate gross monthly salary of €4,357.
• 25 paid holidays per year, with potential additional ADV days.
• Up to 7 public holidays per year, paid by Xelvin.
• Holiday allowance of 8.33% of your total gross annual income, paid annually in May.
• Overtime and shift allowances paid by Xelvin, accordingly.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for commuting to and from work.
