Job summary

Xelvin in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Millwright / Mechanical Technician to join our client’s production teams. You will assemble modules, integrate mechatronic systems, and bring machines to life through adjustments and commissioning, using your mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical skills.

Relocation support is provided for South African candidates, with a fixed 2-year contract and a competitive €4,300 monthly gross salary, plus holidays and overtime allowances.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with assembling machines and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and basic PLC fault-finding.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, automated machinery or production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble modules and complete machines in mechanical and basic electrical fields.
• Carry out technical modifications and adjustments on machines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC-controlled systems.
• Read and work from technical drawings and assembly instructions.
