Xelvin is seeking Maintenance Engineers to relocate to the Netherlands, offering a 1–2 year contract with the goal of long-term employment. The role focuses on keeping complex installations and production lines safe, efficient and reliable.

Formación

• Speak English well and Afrikaans.
• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance engineering or reliability-focused roles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and follow maintenance plans and preventive schedules.
• Perform fault-finding, root-cause analysis and technical improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, project teams and external suppliers.

We are looking for practical Maintenance Engineers who understand how to keep complex installations, production lines and technical systems running safely, efficiently and reliably.

You could be a good fit if you:

• Speak English well, and Afrikaans
• Have a BEng, BTech, National Diploma, Degree or similar qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering
• Have experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Reliability Engineer / Maintenance Planner / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer
• Have worked in manufacturing, food production, FMCG, packaging, mining, energy, utilities, process plants or industrial environments
• Can develop, improve and follow up maintenance plans, preventive maintenance schedules and reliability improvements
• Have experience with fault finding, root cause analysis, breakdown reduction and technical improvement projects
• Understand mechanical and/or electrical systems such as motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, control systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Can work with technical drawings, maintenance data, CMMS systems, reports and documentation
• Are able to work with maintenance teams, production teams, project teams and external suppliers
• Are practical, analytical and motivated to grow long-term in the Netherlands
