Wild Dreams Hospitality in Limpopo seeks a capable maintenance/facilities all-rounder to keep a remote bush operation running smoothly. You will oversee guest suites, services, and essential systems, with a focus on preventing disruptions to the guest experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, preventative maintenance, and contractor management across buildings, pools and grounds. A trade qualification, valid licence, and independent work ability are essential to succeed in this

Qualificações

• Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management in hospitality
• Recognised trade qualification
• Sound knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general maintenance
• Ability to plan preventative maintenance and prioritise urgent repairs
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote bush setting
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to be on call and respond quickly to issues

Responsabilidades

• Oversee upkeep of buildings, guest suites, grounds and communal areas
• Carry out and coordinate repairs across the property
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and keep records up to date
• Maintain plumbing, electrical, water and pool systems
• Monitor power backup systems and report faults promptly
• Coordinate external contractors and suppliers as required
• Manage maintenance stock, tools and equipment
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld
• Respond swiftly to urgent issues to protect the guest experience

This is a practical role for a capable all-rounder who takes pride in keeping a remote bush operation running smoothly, from guest suites to essential services, with minimal disruption to the guest experience.

• Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, ideally within a lodge, hotel or similar hospitality environment
• Recognised trade qualification
• Sound practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance
• Ability to plan preventative maintenance and prioritise urgent repairs
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote bush setting
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to be on call and respond quickly when issues arise
