Job summary

Château Gâteaux is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to lead the site maintenance function, ensuring both reactive and proactive service on all equipment and facilities. The role includes creating/planning maintenance schedules, driving KPI improvements, and mentoring the team to deliver best practice results while managing budgets and safety standards.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of engineering-related experience in food manufacturing, with a tertiary qualification and strong numeracy.

Qualifications

• Technical understanding of TPM, WCM or similar maintenance strategy.
• Development of Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules and leadership of the team to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules and review maintenance policies.
• Schedule internal and external work to maximize planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Lead and coach a high performing maintenance team and manage the maintenance budget.
• Manage stores and critical spares using best practices and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
