Job summary

Service Solutions in Randburg, Gauteng, is looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our workshop and facilities team. You will maintain injection moulding equipment, plan maintenance schedules, and work mostly independently.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems, is neat, punctual, can keep records, stock control for spare parts, and can get along with all team members. Own transport is essential.

Qualifications

• Injection moulding machine knowledge preferable.
• Must work neatly.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems a must.
• Must also be willing to do general maintenance around the building.
• Must also be able to work alone and keep proper records on all the work done.
• Plan machine maintenance schedule and stick to it.
• Basic use of machine shop equipment a must, lathe and milling machine.
• Good timekeeping.
• Keep the machine spare parts stores running efficiently and keep proper stock control.
• Must also be able to get on with all types of people.
• Own transport essential.
