Job summary

Sasol Durban seeks a skilled planning professional to support maintenance, shutdown and project planning across units. You will apply planning processes, manage work orders and maintain schedules using SAP Work Management.

The role emphasizes cost control, safety, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years operational planning experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coach teammates while meeting SHE targets.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of relevant operational experience.
• Ability to follow planning processes and work management principles.

Responsibilities

• Use SAP and SAP Work Management to handle job cards, planning priorities and scoping.
• Plan maintenance activities to optimise asset uptime and minimise cost of ownership.
• Ensure adherence to work management schedules and processes.
• Support predictive maintenance programs with plan vs. actual reporting.
• Coach colleagues and learners in planning practices.
• Provide progress reports and action follow-ups in monthly reviews.
