Job summary

The President Hotel in Cape Town invites skilled spa therapists to join its luxury team. Deliver professional facials, massages and body treatments according to spa standards while delivering warm, attentive service throughout the guest journey.

Candidates should have CIDESCO/ITEC or equivalent, Matric and minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in luxury spa settings, with strong guest consultation, upselling abilities and a calm, guest-focused approach. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant spa therapy qualifications (CIDESCO/ITEC or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in facials, massages and body treatments in luxury spa/hotel environments.
• Strong consultation skills and upselling ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of spa hygiene, sanitation and treatment-room standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional facials, massages and body treatments according to spa standards.
• Consult with guests to understand needs and preferences.
• Tailor treatments to create personalised wellness experiences.
• Perform massage therapies (relaxation, deep tissue, aromatherapy).
• Deliver facial treatments using appropriate products and protocols.
• Perform body scrubs and wraps as per spa menu.
• Maintain immaculate treatment rooms and guest-ready environment.
• Adhere to spa hygiene and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with hotel team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
