Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Anchor/Duty Manager for a world-class luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sand, Mpumalanga. The role blends hosting, lodge operations, team leadership and administration to create personalised guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, maintain high service standards and act as an ambassador for the lodge’s philosophy. South Africa resident status or valid visa is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ hospitality experience, ideally in a 5-star lodge or safari lodge.
• Experience in supervisory roles such as Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, or Lodge Anchor is highly advantageous.
• Excellent guest service standards with a passion for luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional, and highly personalised concierge, reception and hosting service.
• Maintain exceptional guest relations and a genuine home-away-from-home atmosphere.
• Assist with daily management and supervision of lodge staff.
• Train and develop team members to luxury hospitality standards.
• Maintain high standards across housekeeping, maintenance and lodge presentation.
• Coordinate with all lodge departments to meet guest needs and preferences.
• Manage daily concierge and reception administration and guest profiles.
