Job summary

HotelJobs in Waterberg, Limpopo invites an experienced General Manager for a luxury lodge. You will oversee all lodge operations, guest experience, F&B, maintenance and finances, while leading a team through high-end service standards.

The role requires a tertiary management qualification, minimum 5 years lodge management or 2–3 years general management in premium properties, and proven references; live-in arrangement available and salary R50k–R60k per month.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality is beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years Lodge Management experience or 2–3 years General Management in high-end establishments.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Proven track record with contactable references.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all lodge operations including FOH, F&B, maintenance, finances and HR.
• Maintain guest-focused service and hosting responsibilities.
• Lead and motivate staff; adapt to 24-hour shifts.
• Manage costs and implement controls.
• Provide effective leadership and professional development for subordinates.
• Ensure compliance and uphold standards.
