HotelJobs in Franschhoek, Western Cape, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance, repairs, and presentation across the estate. You will oversee guest rooms, public areas, facilities, and equipment, coordinating preventative programmes and managing contractors to maintain exceptional standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in hotel or wine estate maintenance, strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
• Supervise maintenance staff, allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed to required standards.
• Coordinate approved contractors and service providers while maintaining accurate maintenance records and job cards.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, hardware, and general building maintenance tasks.
• Assist with pumps, generators, air-conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, pool equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Maintain stock levels, tools, equipment, safety standards, and departmental cost control measures.
• Matric qualification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience within a hotel, lodge, wine estate, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory experience advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a luxury hospitality environment.
